Hail Haphaestus

$260.00

Hello my dastardly darlings, Creepy Katie here to put some weird in your long holiday weekend. Now, most of you don't know this, but I'm the daughter of a blacksmith, and grew up in my father's smithy. I love the smell, and sound of a forge. The heat, the smell hot metal and coal, the ring of a hammer striking a piece of red hot steel, the hiss of the quench bucket, pure poetry to me, and sounds like home. My father taught me everything I know, and we both consider ourselves as acolytes of the God of fire and forge, Haphaestus. I often joke that the reason I'm so fire and heat resistant, is because I'm a daughter of Haphaestus. In his honor, this new design is dedicated. This ring is anything but a Greek tragedy, as intricate curls of fine silver firmly grasp the firey cabochon of antique Cadmium lava stone. The twists and movement of the bezel is classical greek styling, while a strong rope of twisted fine silver binds the whole thing together. A wide band of beautifully textured sterling silver, lends a decidedly masculine feel to this bauble, but it is still an appropriate choice for anyone. The main star of the show is the "Lava stone" which under blacklight or UV, glows brightly orange, like hot, banked coals. It's truly magical looking, and even unlit, is still an eye catching color and texture. Just gorgeous, and for the bold of heart and personality, just like the god it honors.

I have a somewhat limited supply of these antique amusements, so if the spirit of the forge calls you, act swiftly.
