Bathory's Beauty

So, I know a lot of you are true crime, CSI, and Dexter fans, and this design is for you!! It's no secret, that I'm a gore wh#re, always have been. I recently came across this fabulous gemstone, called Lepidocrocite, or Super Seven stone. While it's lauded for all its amazing metaphysical properties, I'm obsessed with its look. Simply put, it looks like suspended blood spatter, and I love it. I decided to go for a very Baroque gothic, vampire chic style, to go with the bloody theme. I played with some new designs, using tiny balls of silver, to make an intricate look, in descending size, to highlight the delicate, fangy bezel setting. A curvy sillhouette, coming to rounded points, blacked for extra oomph, handsawed, and polished to perfection. The ring shank, with elaborate scrollwork, is by far the widest I've ever used on a ring, and it's fantastic. Comfortable, dramatic, and a definite statement ring. A true bloody beauty, perfect for any gothic night out. I have a small cache of this gemstone, if you need one of your own.
